Donald and Janice Jones Anchor/Reporter and Chief Meterologist, Fox 35 News
Donald and Janice Jones have a lot in common - same career, same love for animals, same last name... and did we mention they’re married? Donald and Janice are both part of the Fox 35 WOFL News team, he as weekend anchor and reporter and she as chief meteorologist. When they’re not on TV together, they can often be found in the company of their four animals, two dogs and two cats.

Before tying the knot three years ago, Janice had but one pet, a feisty feline named Scout. Since then, they’ve added an additional cat named Atticus, as well as Marley and Bayou, both golden retrievers. Bayou’s story is especially amazing - he came to the Joneses as a rescue who’s original destiny in life was to be training bait for an illegal dogfighting ring in Louisiana!

The kitties: Scout and Atticus

Both Joneses grew up with animals. Among them, Donald had a goldfish that lived for what seemed like forever and Janice played “dress-up” with her dogs instead of her dolls and teddy bears. They both have a great sense of humor and have become the unofficial “animal people” of Fox News, making appearances at various pet-oriented events around town.

Donald is a Florida native, while Janice was born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and moved to the Sunshine State with her family at an early age. You can find out more about the Joneses and the rest of Fox 35 News by visiting www.fox35wofl.com.
