Paw Park Howl-O-Ween in the Boneyard 2000
|
| The Paw Park "Howl-O-Ween in the Boneyard" was held on Saturday, October 28th 2000 to help raise funds for the development of Central Florida's first dog park. The park is tenatively scheduled to open in early 2001.
The highlight of the event was a doggie costume contest, with entry fees going to the park fund. The contest was judged by Disco Scottie (PetPhones host), along with MIX 105.1's Erica Lee, Seminole County Undersheriff Steve Harriet and Sanford City Commisioner Brady Lessard. The original concept for the event was spearheaded by the chairman of the Friends of our Paw Park, Mike Knipfer.
